I am liking this tune from Twenty One Pilots. Seems it is still the catchy little tune that gets you every time and that is exactly what this is. Plus there is not a half naked woman anywhere to be seen on this video, but I guess you can’t have everything! They were probably on a budget
It’s actually been going for about a year now, so much for living in the country in the South of France. Nobody ever tells me anything and by the time you hear it on the radio it is already nearly a year old. But I guess they are an American duo so you can understand why it took a little while to filter its way onto French radio.
I am glad it did though because I love it. They call themselves a ‘Schizophrenic’ pop genre. Not sure I know what that means exactly, but I am getting old, so no surprise there. Sat watching TV the other night and we were really strapped for something good to watch. Then we noticed ‘The Other Guys’ was showing and it wasn’t too old plus it was a comedy. So we thought lets give it a shot.
Have to be honest I really didn’t think it was that funny, but what I did like was some of the featured music and the one that really got my attention was Ooh La La by Goldfrapp. Soon as I heard it I remembered it and I love it. Definitely a bit quirky and different from the normal run of the mill pop/disco music and it soon had me sitting up to pay attention.
Ooh La La was released back in 2005 as the lead single to the album Supernature and ‘Yay’ Goldfrapp are a British band, so there is a sort of ‘Top of the Pops’ feel to the track, but not in a bad Jimmy Saville way but in a very good and positive British TV and music way.
Supernature the Album

2. Lovely 2 C U
3. Ride A White Horse
4. You Never Know
5. Let It Take You
6. Fly Me Away
